Which apps does MindStateLabs offer?
MindStateLabs develops MindState App for focus, relaxation, sleep, meditation, and creativity, and MindState TinniTuner for tinnitus support. Both apps are available on Android and iOS.
What is the difference between MindState App and TinniTuner?
MindState App helps you build flexible listening mixes with binaural beats, isochronic tones, ambient layers, and noise colors using the Quick editor and Full editor. MindState TinniTuner matches your tinnitus pitch and offers filtered mixes for masking and habituation.
Do I need an account?
No. Neither app requires login or account creation.
Does Premium in one app unlock the other?
No. Subscriptions and in-app purchases are per app and are billed through Google Play or the App Store.
Where is my data stored?
Your mixes, settings, and listening data stay on your device. We do not operate application servers for your content. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Do the apps work offline?
Core listening works offline. Purchased entitlements are stored on your device so Premium features keep working without a connection.
Are these apps medical treatments?
No. The apps support wellbeing and daily listening routines, but they are not medical devices and do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent conditions. MindState TinniTuner does not cure tinnitus. Individual results vary.

What audio files can I import?
MP3, WAV, and FLAC from device storage or bundled and sample-pack assets.
Do QR codes include my custom audio?
No. QR and share links include mix structure (tones, noise, effects) only. Re-attach file tracks after import.
How do Daily Rituals work on Android?
Alarms and notifications. Grant exact-alarm, battery, and notification permissions when prompted. Optional Do Not Disturb access lets playback continue during DND.
Can I start a ritual from a mix I am playing?
Yes. Use Create ritual on the player toolbar when subscribed.

MindState TinniTuner
How does tinnitus pitch matching work?
You fine-tune your tinnitus pitch in the app, then choose a mix that filters a narrow band around that frequency. You can readjust when your tinnitus changes day to day.
Can TinniTuner cure my tinnitus?
No. It supports relaxation, masking, and habituation, but is not a medical treatment and does not cure tinnitus.
What can I try before Premium?
One session is free. Every premium mix includes a 5-minute preview so you can hear whether it feels right before subscribing.
What does Premium add?
Full-length premium mixes, a progress log with optional daily check-ins, flexible session lengths, and an 8-week habituation program.
